Answer: Stock cost $120 \times 0.65 + 8 \times 1.85 = 78 + 14.80 = £92.80$ , so profit $= 132 - 92.80 = £39.20$ .

Answer: $4.8 \times 2.5 = 12$ (work out $48 \times 25 = 1200$ , two decimal places).
